When good intentions end badly
Hi everyone,
Well what a week its been. I started with such amazing intentions. The first of which being zero alcohol, more about this later! I have really struggled to keep up my workout routine this week. Only because I don't own weights heavy enough to keep up with my usual routine at the gym. I have done my best to replicate at home but it ended with dumbells being flung across the room and me being catapulted from a chair trying to do hip thrusts. Im just glad to report that no injuries or breakages were sustained.
I have still been enjoying my daily outdoor exercise of a jog through the forests and will forever be grateful for my amazing surroundings. The no alcohol pact has well and truly been broken though. Who knew that pink gin would taste so much better through a (purple willy) straw? As this is the closest I'm going to get to the real thing for the foreseeable I fully intend to make the most of it. There really is nothing better than laying on the roof garden naked with a gin in hand.
I think that this time in isolation is really teaching us what truly matters in life. Its not the materialistic rubbish that we all thought, I have even tried baking my own bread rolls this week (not my biggest success to be fair but fun none the less).
Anyway, my favourite straw is calling me, I will be back in touch soon...
Take care and stay safe,
Erin xx
